When you reach 100 Glory for the first time you earn a new title to reflect your increased status! This happens every hundred Glory so at 200, 300, etc. You can never lose a title even if you drop below the required Glory threshold after a run of particularly bad luck!
Your title determines what objects you can have on your shield - this is called your heraldry. The best objects are only available to players with the higher titles so if you see someone with a dragon on their shield, you know you are up against a pro!
